Shoot Me Down....

Time to recap and keep everyone posted since my crazy week last week.
Thursday was the live taping. Dance was dance.... so emotional each time they let go of the kids. i don't think i could ever be a judge on our show. i barely know any of them, yet my heart totally goes out for each of them.

Friday was a pretty crazy day trying to prep 2 jobs and finish up all the shopping. Starting a 7am and not finishing until 2am was a bit hard considering i had to be up at 5am the next morning.

Saturday was a total hit. Did the gig for Nickelodeon and totally did a fabulous job.... i gotta say that i think i have the most amazing assistants in the world. They totally save my ass everyday and i truly am grateful to find such great hard workers. The shoot itself was super easy. One look per person. It was all the organizing of store returns and showrooms with the lovely Jazzi and Joshuah did. Love them for that! Totally saved me a good 5 hours.

Sunday was probably the worst day of my entire life. The music video was for a band called Against Me. If you can imagine everything going wrong all at once it happened. Everything from not having enough steamers, to having extras you didn't even know exist show up without me even having there sizes. The tuxedo fitting was such a trial and error process and was so stressful i thought i lost my mind. Not to mention that i completely blew my back out while working. The day ended at a good 19 hours and of course in the end it looked fucking amazing. Everyone was happy, which was my ultimate goal. I basically dressed about 70-+ people with only 2 days to really pull clothes. Yes, in case you were wondering, i was completely out of my mind. However my lovely lads once again saved the day with my coke cola. If you know me you know that i cant function without it. We had a crazy set medic who was also insanely amazing. He had all these vitamins and elixirs that totally would blow red bull out of the water. We ended the shoot with a camera filled with behind the scenes photos and a face full of smiles. I really couldn't ask for more!

Monday I had a meeting at rogers and cowan to remake this conductor from EMI. The shoot is on Thursday, with a fitting tomorrow. Should go by pretty smoothly. Then I went to Dance to dress Cat, watched the pretaping and finished the night at Morels with the wonderful Amy Strozzi and a bottle of champagne.

Today.... Well i started off at 7am with a lovely visit to a spinal specialist. Followed that with an MRI and electro shock therapy for my back. Looks like i really over did it this time. My lovely Ryan (one of the few amazing asst i have) is back from his extremely long vaca which i am totally thankful for. He had been gone for way to long....

As for the rest of the week:
Tomorrow: pulling and fitting with the conductor. prepping for Thursdays shoot.
The British Soccer Team is having a party in the hills too which should be entertaining....
Thurs: So you think you can dance? Live*** Shoot with EMI/ Rogers and Cowan then off to the dance set to dress cat
Friday: photo shoot with photographer Wendy Hall for Issue 1 Magazine; 3 models, 30 looks, 12 page spread.... not too bad.
Sat: Standard Pool party downtown!
Sunday: time to sleep!

I would like to say goodbye to my lovely friends from Boy Kill Boy. They finally finished their albulm and left me to go back to London today. Those guys are so amazing and gifted individuals and I am truly blessed to have met them and become friends with them... Look out for their new albulm. I heard its brilliant... and if you dont have their first one... you better go get it! My favorite song is Shoot me down. (video below) I wish them the best of luck in their travels and im sure i will see them along my path down the road. Big Kisses to all of you!!!!

Behind the scene pictures from set coming soon.....
